How 8 Ways of Being A Good Leader Can Explode Your Home-Based Business

Do you ever wonder why you see the same people up on stage earning all the money, year after year? They say they are doing the same things you are, but they are rich and you are not? How is this possible?

One reason is that they understand the importance of being a leader. They are in business for themselves, not for their upline or the company that provides their products. Their ability to think on their own two feet, make rational decisions and wear about 20 different hats gives others the impression that they know their stuff. They also have firmly grasped the concept of being a leader and how the following 8 characteristics apply to their business.

1. Knowledge

Keep a journal to gather information. You do not need to know everything, but sometimes a few things that you do not know will hurt you. The best way to use knowledge as a business building tool is to attend every conference call you can fit into your schedule. Listen and record, then review. If you are not continually learning and applying your knowledge to your business, how can you expect your downline to do it? Show them how important it is to learn by being a student yourself.

2. Vision

Your ability to see the future is critical to the success of your business. When you have vision, you can put one foot in front of the other and go after your goals. Leaders become inspired by the possibilities of what can happen tomorrow, next week, next month and next year. When you are able to visualize your future, you can inspire others to see theirs. Not everyone has the ability to use optimism as a motivator. Sometimes they need others to paint the picture for them.

3. Faith

Seeing the future and what it has in store for you is one thing, but actually believing it can happen is quite another. When you believe things are possible, you begin to have faith in yourself. When you find faith in yourself, you can then find faith in others. If you live in a constant state of denial, thinking that only good things happen to intelligent or lucky people, you will always be stuck. When you believe in yourself, you get the job done. When you believe in others, they get their job done.

4. Confidence

People like to be around others who have confidence. It lifts their spirit and inspires them to work harder. Leaders know what they have and are confident to acquire more. They also have the ability to help others acquire what they want. When you shift your focus away from yourself and give others confidence, you actually acquire more through their success. Only leaders know this is an important part of building a business.

5. Inspiration

Leaders inspire others of who they can become. Inspiration always comes from someone else first, so always look for the good in a person and absorb it. Everyone has flaws, but it takes a good leader to see the value in a person. Even if it is only one little characteristic. Just imagine how much of an inspiration you would be if you took each little bit of good that you see in others and collectively applied them all to yourself. People would beg you to work with them.

6. Integrity

Protect your reputation by always choosing the high road. Leaders show others how to have integrity and respect for themselves and their businesses by example. Problems always surface when you are trying to grow a business, that is inevitable. The way you handle the problems can make or break your success. If something makes you stop and think whether it is right or wrong, chances are good that it is wrong. Always do the right thing, no matter what.

7. Compassion

When you put yourself in other people's shoes, you have a better understanding of where they are coming from. Never lose your cool just because someone does not follow your plan or listen to everything you have to say. Sometimes circumstances become overwhelming and a person runs out of options. People hit brick walls and have bad times. Leaders who know how to show compassion without pampering keep their businesses strong. No one can cross back over a bridge that you burned by poor judgment. Always keep the door open.

8. Humility

You would not be able to grow a home-based business in network marketing without the help of others. Leaders remember that they are a part of something but not the focus. They are the part that gets things going, but it is the activity of others that gets the job done. When you have a larger-than-life ego, it turns people away. Treat others the way you would want to be treated and keep your focus shifted away from yourself. Helping others will give you all the satisfaction you need.

The bottom line is that you can not grow a business until you position yourself as a leader, and you cannot be a leader until you have applied these eight characteristics to yourself. This is the mindset that it takes to bring in 20-30 people a week into your business. If you don't think that is possible, you need to work on your vision, faith and confidence. When you believe it can happen, you start to look for ways to make it happen. This is how I turned my business around and how I inspire others to do the same.

There is no need for a 95% drop-out rate in network marketing. When you stop looking to your upline as the leader of your business and start being the leader of your business, dropping out will become a thing of the past.

Being Prepared to Prove an Insurance Loss

Everyone understands the need to have insurance these days but many find themselves unprepared to calculate an actual loss when it occurs, much less prove it to an insurance company. The best way to meet both challenges is to create a record.

This article is designed to assist in creating the record in the easiest way but in a way that will satisfy an insurer as well. Like all preparation, it will require the expenditure of time and effort, but failing to do so may well result can have catastrophic effects, either personally or for a business.

It is surprising to see how many clients have spent the money necessary to obtain all the right coverage, and therefore assumed that they are fully protected, only to find out that they come up short when a fire or other loss occurs. The most common reason is there is not any way to recall everything lost. This leads to the next most common problem, being unable to prove to the satisfaction of an insurer what the loss is worth.

STEPS TO PROVE A CLAIM:

Save Receipts The easiest thing one can do to prove ownership and amount of loss is to have a receipt for every item. While it would be best to create folders for general categories of items, e.g.art, appliances, electronics, china, etc., a suitable fallback method is to write on each receipt the nature of the purchase. While finding a specific receipt might take a while to find, it will be there when needed.

Create A Photographic Record Receipts are important but they obviously do not cover things for which you have no receipts, such as gifts or items which were purchased before years past. Such a record can be created either from still photos or a video. Create a record by systematically moving from room to room in an organized fashion. Take a picture of every wall, from every perspective, focusing carefully on anything which has personal or real value. Whichever method you employ, be sure your camera imprints the current date on the film. Also, update the record once a year to pick up new acquisitions and satisfy the insurer that the record is recent enough to be accurate.

Adequately Display Important or Valuable Items When creating a record, be sure to open cabinets and drawers, which contain valuable items such as china, crystal, and silver.

Keep Records Off-Site It should go without saying that having gone to the trouble of creating a record, it is important to carefully preserve it. Keeping the record in the very house that burns down makes no sense. Put all pictures, receipts, and videos in a safe deposit box or even take them to another offsite location such as a place of work. Just do not leave it at home!

Bottom line, it pays to create a record of the very things insurance is designed to protect.

The Car Loan Calculator - A Smart Tool For Financial Clarity

Your dream of driving down a freeway without a road map is not too far in the distant future thanks to car loans and the car loan calculator. If you think you are being confused and misled by financial institutions, you need to stop worrying and start using the loan calculator.

What Is A Loan Calculator

Loan calculator is a smart tool that gives you a fair estimate of the expected monthly repayment amount for any available car loan. All you need to do is feed in the responses to the queries relating to the following:

  • The amount you want to borrow

  • The loan repayment period

  • Your total household income

  • And finally your personal circumstances
  • Once these details have been filled in, based on its findings the calculator displays the various types of available loans and their estimated monthly installments. With such valuable data in hand, it should not be difficult for you to choose the best available new car loan.

If you are also looking for payment protection insurance or PPI, that amount could also be plugged into the calculator along with the rest of your data. In case of a bad credit record, the calculator will ensure that it does not display names of lenders who do not approve of lending to persons with bad credit history.

The exceptional feature in a loan calculator is that it is also able to calculate the estimated amount of depreciation. You can also calculate the actual purchase price, inclusive of the amount before taxes and fees and the annual percentage rate.

Where Do I Find A Loan Calculator

New car loan calculators are usually displayed online by most websites providing auto loans. These calculators can be used free of cost.

    Benefits Of Loan Calculator

The most obvious and most helpful benefit of the loan calculator is that:

  • Free of cost

  • Gives you a fair idea of your financial standing for the next couple of years in case of a loan

  • Helps you compare car loan rates offered by the different lending agencies and finally select the best suited for you
  • Word Of Caution

While the benefits and advantages derived out of the features of the calculator seem impressive, you need to act with caution. Online calculators are usually available on the website that offers loans. There will, therefore, be a bias towards loans by that specific company. You will have to either calculate loan rates on different calculators or use logic and work out the odds yourself.

The car loan calculator is a good guide, so make the best use of it and be sure you get a good valued car loan.

The car loan calculator helps calculate auto car loan rates offered by various lending agencies and ensures that you get the best suited new car loans deal.
